DCI Probes appellate Court Judge Sankale over Tobb Cohen’s Murder case

The Directorate of Criminal Investigation has in a statement claimed that the court of appeal judge Sankale Ole Kantai actively participated in the cover up of the murder case, of Dutch magnate, Tobb Cohen.

The judge is said to have convened several meetings with Tob’s wife ,Sarah wairimu, on diverse dates. Senior Assistant to the Inspector General of Police John Gashumo, also claims that Cohen was killed barely a few days after the exposure of fraudulent  transfer of shares involving the judge and Cohen’s wife.

Judge Kantai had been arrested and releasd on police bond over the murder of the dutch businessman in February last year.Investigations are still underway as no charges have been pressed against him.

Wairimu in her affidavit denied kidnapping, assaulting or killing her husband, saying they had lived together for 29 years.

She swore that Cohen had developed a severe drinking problem and whenever business was low, he would threaten to sell the home forcing her to place a caveat that the house was not for sale.
