Kenya has moved up two places in the latest FIFA rankings released this week.
Kenya is now ranked 102 in the world after Cyprus and Mauritania dropped two places.
The latest ranking come even as Kenya sacked its coach Jacob Ghost Mulee and now shopping for a new tactician. No reason was given for the sacking by the federation .
Kenya is due to play Mali in a home and away fixtures early next month and need to gather at least four points to have any hope of making it to the next round of the world cup qualifiers.
Senegal is the top ranked African country at position 20 followed by Tunisia in 25 and Algeria close the first three African countries in the ranking in position 30.
At the top England has dislodged France from position three after the good results in the world cup qualifiers . Belgium still top the standings followed by Brazil.
