Nigeria authorities declared 90 travelers who arrived from Brazil, India and Turkey as health hazards.

This is after the travelers failed to observe the Covid-19 safety measures put in place by the country’s health ministry.

The authorities are now looking for the group of persons who  include 63 Nigerians and 27 foreigners.

The 90 arrived into the country between 8th and 15th of May, through the Murtala Muhammed International Airport in Lagos and Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport in Abuja.

The offenders have been warned of possible sanctions, including disabling of their travel passports for one year,  cancellation of visas or permits of foreigners and prosecution.

They have been directed to report to any public health office by Tuesday for immediate evaluation.

Earlier this month, the country issued an advisory for passengers arriving from the three countries.
