Everton finally beats Liverpool at Anfield

Everton finally beat Liverpool at Anfield since 1999 after a solid performance at to win by two goals to nil .

Richarlison put Everton in front after three minutes when he got to the end of  a superb pass from James Rodriguez to beat Allison.

Liverpool responded and Pickford saved well from Jordan Henderson who was taken off injured to add to manager Jurgen Klopp injury problems..

Sadio Mane wasted two headed chances for Liverpool in the second half while Pickford saved superbly from Salah, leaving Everton to wrap up their first derby win in 24 attempts when substitute Gylfi Sigurdsson scored from the spot with seven minutes left after Dominic Calvert-Lewin tangled with Trent Alexander-Arnold in the box .

The loss mean Liverpool lost the fourth EPL match in a row in 23 years . They remain sixth on the table by if Aston Villa win two of their three games in hand and Totenham two in hand , the reds will find themselves eighth on the table .
