President Uhuru launches a health center in Uthiru

Feb, 12th 2021 – President Uhuru Kenyatta has criticized leaders from the ruling party who are working against the government. He said that some individuals in the government are engaging in divisive politics despite being in the ruling party.

Speaking while officially launching the Muthua Health Centre in Uthiru, Nairobi, the president said that the Jubilee Government will work to bring about development in the country, especially in the health sector.

Earlier, Director-general Mohammed Badi had said that his team is set to commission two hospitals every week. The hospitals are from a Sh2 billion project meant to ease the burden of patient care at Kenyatta National Hospital.

He added that 84 wards in Nairobi will have at least a hospital that will bring health services closer to the residents. Badi said, “Almost all the 24 are ready with some at different stages of completion.

The level two and three facilities that have been under construction since last August are now ready for use,” Badi added.

Meanwhile, Deputy President William Ruto says he is the only one fit to take over from President Uhuru Kenyatta.

Speaking in Kiambaa during the fundraising for Boda boda, said he deserves the presidency, so as to continue the Jubilee development agenda.

He said that the government is dedicated to working together and the new economic path will usher in the empowerment of the ordinary Kenyan.
