Manchester United and Bournemouth in the FA last eight.

Manchester United has booked a place in the FA cup quarter final after a one nil win over West ham.

Scott Mc Tominay got the only goal of the tie during extra time. West ham defended well throughout the 90 minutes but the lapse after 98 minutes allowed the hosts get the goal.

United had laboured for much of the evening and hadn’t created that many opportunities. But they were the better side and deserve their place in the quarter finals.

West Ham were resilient and organized and blocked many of the shots by Mason Greenwood, Anthony Martial and Marcus Rashford.

Bournemouth beat Burnley 2-0 to join united in the quarters. The two sides now will wait for the six fixtures on Wednesday and Thursday  night to know their opponents for the quarter finals .

Top sides who will be in action include Manchester city , Leicester , Everton and Tottenham Hotspur. Non top flight side include Swansea City and Bristol city.

Bournemouth have already made it to the last eight and Wednesday night fixtures will determine who joins them. Manchester City remain the favorites but they will need to overcome Swansea City.
