President Uhuru Kenyatta has summoned all Jubilee Senators to a parliamentary group meeting today.
The meeting which will be held at the KICC come as the Senate and the national assembly reconvenes for the first session of the year and on the backdrop of BBI politics .
The meeting also coincides with events of Monday evening where Jubilee party expelled six nominated Senators among them Isaac Mwaura ,Millicent Omanga, Naomi Waqo, Mary Seneta, Victor Prengeei and Iman Falhada.
In a communication, party Secretary General Raphael Tuju said the expulsion has been communicated to the Senate and Registrar of political parties is effective .
It is however not known if the senators who were expelled on disciplinary, grounds will attend the meeting.
The former leader of majority in the Senate and who is also the Elgeyo Marakwet representative Kipchumba Murkomen said that he had been invited to the meeting by the party leader .
In a tweet Murkomen however questioned who was going to the removed from the leadership of the house.

Muranga senator Irungu Kang’ata who is the also majority chief whip in the senate has been in the centre of controversy after he penned a letter to the president informing him that the BBI is not popular in the Mt.Kenya region .
Unconfirmed reports say that today’s meeting may also propose the removal of Kang’ata from the house leadership . Kang’ata also tweeted saying he is ready for his ouster.
