The Kenya defense forces has warned that any unscrupulous individual who will be found engaging in any corrupt activity in the recruitment of the KDF cadets will face the full force of the law.
Speaking to media on Monday , Vice Chief of the Defence Forces Lieutenant General Franklin Mghalu, said the past incidents of fake call-up letters to the training will not be condoned .
He further warned the candidates ,parents and guardians not to be duped in paying any fee to have their young men and women recruited. He added that f KDF does not charge for the recruitment exercise.
He further urged the public to keep off fraudsters and report any form of corruption and says only those who meet the required required qualifications will be recruited.
The exercise will see the KDF Recruiting Teams consisting of the Kenya Army, the Kenya Air Force and the Kenya Navy at the subcounty level.
All potential candidates reporting to the recruitment centers should come from the Sub-Counties and Divisions of their respective Counties. They must bring with them current original national identity card, academic certificates and testimonials.
