South Africa sells unwanted AstraZeneca vaccines

South Africa’s health minister Zweli Mkhize says the country is selling its unwanted doses of the Oxford AstraZeneca vaccine.

This is as a result of, the government dropping plans to use the vaccine. A study has continuously shown disappointing results against the new covid-19 variant.

Nevertheless, the country is now using the Johnson and Johnson vaccine.

South Africa is now using the African Union to sell the one million doses to 14 African states.
