Harambee Stars Head Coach Benni McCarthy has unveiled his 25-man final squad for the 8th African Nations Championship tournament penciled in for 2-30 next month in Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania and Zanzibar.
McCarthy named a squad blending both the experienced and young players as Kenya looks forward to recording an impressive performance in its maiden appearance.
The attacking line-up is made up of experienced Masoud Juma, Mohammed Bajaber, Boniface Muchiri, and Ryan Ogam alongside first call-ups David Sakwa, Austin Odongo, and Felix Oluoch.
The team will be captained by Abud Omar, and he will be assisted by Daniel Sakari and Alphonce Omija.
The team are currently training at Nyayo Stadium, having arrived from Arusha, Tanzania where they withdrew from the Cecafa Four Nations Tournament.
McCarthy also revealed the reason Kenya pulled out of the four nations tournament saying it was collective decision made by the team.
