The finals entered extra time after Uganda’s Batiibwe Okello leveled Kenya’s first goals in the 75th minute, 7 minutes after Syphas Owuor opened the scoreboard.
Owour received the ball straight from the Kenyan custodian Ibrahim Wanzala and controlled it by the side of his head before slotting the ball past the Ugandan keeper.

Kenya qualified for the CECAFA U18 final after seeing off Tanzania 4-3 on post-match penalties and Young Uganda Cranes beat Rwanda 1-0.
Rwanda have also emerged third placed in the competition after thrashing Tanzania 3-1.
