The founder of Deliverance Churches in Kenya and Uganda, Apostle Joe Kayo, is dead.
The reverend preacher,breathed his last while undergoing treatment at the Nairobi Hospital on Thursday 2nd November 2023.
According to Joe Kayo Ministries, the reverend had been unwell for some time.
Kayo, 86, leaves behind a wife and three children, along with thousands of spiritual sons and daughters he mentored.
Kayo was born on May 5, 1937 in Nyamira county.
In 1960, he established two congregations in Mombasa and Kilifi and later moved to Nyanza, where he stayed for nine years.
Kayo later founded the Deliverance Church in Kenya and Uganda, the Juba Pentecostal Church, and he also helped plant the Family of God churches.
