The Kenya Reinsurance Corporation- Kenya Re has issued a notice inviting applications for the next Managing Director following last week’s departure of Jadiah Mwarania.
The re-insurer has invited applications for the vacant post setting the closing date for submissions on December 20.
Last week, Kenya-Re announced the departure of its long-serving Managing Director Jadiah Mwarania who ends a 12-year stint at the helm of the re-insurer.
The holder of the position is expected to be tasked with the overall leadership and management of the Corporation, subsidiaries and global markets.
Applicants to the post are required to have a minimum of 15 years’ experience at senior management level and should have a post-graduate degree in Finance, Insurance, Business Administration or a related field.
Mwarania proceeds on leave from December 15 paving way for the recruitment of the next MD ahead of the lapse of his tenure in April 2023.
Kenya Re appointed its General Manager for Property and Administration Michael Mbeshi to take charge of the Corporation on an interim basis.
