Zidane says he is not interested with United job

Zinedine Zidane says he is not interested in becoming the new manager of Manchester United despite being  approached after the sacking  Ole Gunnar Solskjaer

During his time at Real Madrid Zidane worked with Cristiano Ronaldo and Raphael Varane, who are both now at United.

Moreover , Zidane is also interested in managing the French national team, with current boss Didier Deschamps’ contract expiring after next year’s World Cup.

Mauricio Pochettino and Brendan Rogers are among the favourites to take over from Solskjaer, whose departure from United was officially confirmed on Sunday.

Solskjaer’s spell in charge of the club came to an end after United suffered a 4-1 defeat away to Watford.

Former player Michael Carrick has taken over before the club gets a caretaker manager and will be in charge in Tuesday’s champions league tie at Villareal.
