AFC Leopards sweat over lack of players as Gor and Tusker battle in the ‘super cup’

AFC Leopards club is facing a crisis of lack of players just a week to the kick off of the new season.

Reports say that the club only has 12 players and without a goalkeeper after a number of them left the club due to unpaid salaries.

The club is also banned from signing new players by FIFA after failing to settle salaries of former players.

Elsewhere the super cup between Gor mahia and Tusker FC is set for tomorrow at the Thika municipal stadium.

Gor mahia won the FKF shield and the brewers are the FKF league champions.

The ruaraka side might have the advantage having that their players have been active in the CAF Champions league where they have qualified to the next stage after seeing off the Djibouti side in two legs.

Gor mahia on the other hand are still recruiting and have barely had preseason buildup matches .
