Kenya Airways Resumes Mumbai Flights on Thursday

Kenya Airways will this Thursday resume its flights to Mumbai ending a four month ban that was influenced by the surging cases of fatalities and spread of coronavirus .

“Welcome back onboard! Fly from Nairobi to Mumbai starting Thursday 16th September with normal schedules resuming from Monday 20th September 2021,” said the airline in a notice to its customers on a Mondays flight.

In a statement the airline informed its customers that it will resume its operation with its  first flight taking off at 7am on Thursday .

The airline also stated that the ticket prices will remain relatively the same prior to the pandemic and the compony counted losses‘ will not influence any hike.

KQ had Suspended passenger flights to and from Mumbai on April 30 , following a government directive on travel between India and Kenya due to a Covid-19 crisis in that country.

The flights had since led to an increase in the number of infections coming into the country from Asian countries that were reporting high number of the same.

The airline said on Friday that passengers who had booked tickets after May 1, the date of the last flight from Mumbai to Nairobi, will have to change their plans.
