Manchester City and Chelsea eye UEFA Champions league Final

Manchester City and Chelsea go to the second leg of the UEFA champions semi finals as favourites .

On Wednesday Manchester City  came from a goal down to beat PSG 2-1 in the first leg  .

 Kevin de Bruyne and Riyadh Mahrez got the goals for Pepe Guardiola side  after PSG captain Marquinhos had put the hosts ahead.

De Bruyne’s teasing cross evaded everyone in the penalty area and drifted beyond PSG keeper Kaylor Navas to level the game at 1-1.

City were dominant through the second half and  with Neymar fading and Kylian Mbappe subdued,  PSG were stunned by a Riyad Mahrez free kick to beat keeper Navas .

The win in France means City just needs a draw of any kind in the return leg in Manchester.   

PSG’s misery was rounded up after former Everton midfield man Idrissa Gueye was rightly shown a red card for a dreadful challenge on Ilkay Gundogan

On Tuesday night ,Chelsea held Real Madrid to a one all draw in Madrid and got the precious away goal .

Chelsea host Zinedine Zidane men in London in the return leg where Madrid has to score or be knocked out.

Meanwhile pundits in England are already looking at an all English final but City and Blues have to show their resolve and avoid conceding against the French side and the Los Blancos respectively.
