Gor Mahia optimistic to overturn the tables in Zambia come Sunday

Feb 15th, 2021 Football Kenya premier league champions Gor mahia will have to dig deep in order to overturn the one nil deficit they face ahead of the return leg of the CAF Confederations paly-off against Napsa stars of Zambia in Lusaka.

Gor Mahia lost one nil at home in Nairobi in a late strike after a series of lost chances to take control of the two legged tie .

The winner of the tie in aggregate scores will make it to the group stages of the CAF confederations tournament which is a lower tier of the CAF club tournament.

Gor Mahia coach Manuel Vaz Pinto believes that his side is capable of getting more than two goals if the chances are converted to goals in Lusaka.The return leg will be played on February 21 .

Gor mahia will now focus their attention of the local assignment where they have another tough side Wazito to tackle on Thursday this week.

Currently K’Ogalo are sixth on the table having played nine matches with sixteen points .

Wazito are sitting third on the table with twenty points from eleven matches after a good run under their now not new coach Francis Kimanzi .
