The national team harambee stars local based players started their training on Monday ahead of the Cup of nations qualifiers against Egypt and Togo.
The Jacob Ghost Mulee will be having the players for two days a week before they released to their clubs for league matches. Mulee says he is pleased with the new call ups in the team who include AFC leopards striker Elvis Rupia .
The international players are expected to join the local based team a week before the Egypt tie in Nairobi.
Kenya is currently sitting third in group G that is led by Egypt who have eight points from two wins and two draws.
Comoros is second with same points as Egypt from two wins and two draws. The surprise package from the Islands beat Togo an Kenya on their backyard and they also collected a point in Nairobi.
Kenya on the other hand need to beat Togo away and Egypt in Nairobi to have any chance of qualifying.
