CAF plans to boost FKF, CEO annual gratuities

Football Kenya Federation (FKF) president is set for a cash boost following the announcement that Confederation of African Football (CAF) plans to give a $50,000 annual gratuity to federation heads in all their 54 member associations.

CAF president Patrice Motsepe has revealed that at the next CAF Congress in DR Congo, a resolution will be passed to have the gratuity payment increased to $50,000 (Ksh6,429,771) to cushion FA bosses because “they have no resources.”

Motsepe also said the token will also be extended to the federation CEOs (General Secretary) since they are also suffering in silence.

Previously, federation presidents used to receive an annual token of $20 000 but over time, there have been complaints that it is not enough since some of them are forced to use their resources to run their offices.
