JCC celebrates one year since Kiuna’s passing

Believers of the Jubilee Christian Church JCC are convening today to honor the legacy of the late Bishop Allan Kiuna and to mark a year since his passing.

Kiuna was promoted to glory after a long battle with cancer on June 9th 2024.

Rev Kathy Kiuna has announced that the memorial service will be held at their Parklands sanctuary and will be a moment of reflection of God’s faithfulness and the times and seasons of the late Bishop Allan Kiuna.

”It’s been one year of nothing but Grace. We celebrate his legacy tomorrow at 3pm at JCC parklands.” The church posted.

”My best friend, no goodbye will ever truly express what my heart still feels, but God, as you always said till your last day, He is faithful. He has been faithful. It has been a year already, yet it feels like yesterday. Forever in my mind. Forever in our hearts .” She wrote.

”My baby, words fail me… Every time I think of what to say, I’m overwhelmed. I’m overwhelmed by your fond thoughts of me; I’m overwhelmed by your love for me. Thank you for going out of your way to make me feel loved and appreciated by my family, my covenant friends, my church family, and friends. Thank you for all you do for us. I cannot describe resilience, strength, courage, and hope without the image of you,” said Kiuna

The preacher had openly discussed his battle with cancer over the past few years and in December 2023, Kiuna revealed that he had spent nearly a year in the United States undergoing treatment for Sh384 million.

He expressed gratitude to God for providing the means, as he did not have to contribute from his pocket.

Kiuna is survived by his wife, Kathy, three children, and grandchildren.
