NPSC commences interviews for 8 candidates shortlisted for deputy IG posts

The National Police Service Commission  is set to name the two new deputy inspector general of police by Friday this week.

This follows the commencement of the interviews of the 8 shortlisted candidates form the Kenya school of government lower Kabete this morning to pick the next  DIG for both the administration police and Kenya police.

George Adero Sedah, Eliud Kipkoech Lagat, Tom Mboya Odero and Dr Vincent Kinas Makokha will going head to head for the DIG Kenya police service post

Gilbert Masengeli, Margaret Nyambura Karanja, James Mukuha Kamau and Masoud Mwinyi will be putting their best feet forward for the DIG Administration police service post.

The pressure to have new DIGs has been prompted by resignation of Japheth Koome, and Douglas Kanja assuming the inspector general of police role  in an acting capacity

Eliud Lagat and  James Kamau are currently the acting DIGs
