NCCK calls for dialogue between President Uhuru and DP Ruto

National Council Of Churches Of Kenya (NCCK) is calling on President Uhuru Kenyatta and his deputy William Ruto, to resolve their political differences through  dialogue.

NCCK says the political dispute between the two is standing in the way of development and growing the country.

Speaking during a conference NCCK General Secretary Rev. Chris Kinyanjui noted that the internal wrangles within the government  are a recipe for chaos and violence.

President Uhuru and his deputy have been in a cold war with the latest move the withdrawal of GSU officers who guard the residence of the DP .

The GSU officers were replaced with Administration police officers who guard government installations .

Reverend Kinyanjui also warned against any plan to postpone the 2022 polls saying it would be unconstitutional to push the polls
