UK prime minister faulted for reluctance in tightening Covid-19 restrictions

UK prime minister Borris Johnson is being faulted for his reluctance in tightening cover-19 restrictions.

In his defence, he thought all those succumbing to the disease were well over the age of 80.

Speaking on the matter, Mr. Johnson’s former chief adviser Dominic Cumminngs, expressed dismay in the move.

The Downing Street chief of staff however said the prime minister had taken the necessary action to protect lives and livelihoods, guided by the best scientific advice throughout the pandemic.

Additionally, Mr. Johnson is faulted for intending to maintain face-to-face meetings with the Queen.
