StoryLine: Sweet Tooth tells the tale of Gus, who is also known as Sweet Tooth because of his fondness for chocolate, and his search for his mother after his father dies in the wake of the two of them living together alone in hiding for a decade in a cabin in the woods.

Well, Gus, a half-deer boy with antlers and twitchy ears, encounters a grim world in which Hybrid children are gathered up and experimented on, with everyone blaming them for the virus’s spread.

Human poachers known as the “Last Men” pursue them, forcing Gus to seek the services of a reformed Last Man, an ex-football star known as “Big Man,” to bring him to Colorado, where he believes his mother is living.

Thumbs up: Sweet Tooth is a warm, humane, lushly shot fable of hope and humanity. This endearing film is for the whole family setting. It’s so ironic the film takes place in a world affected by a virus, while currently we’re living in one.

Thumbs down: It can be slow sometimes.

All in all, you will be hooked from the first episode till the last.
