Justice Daniel Musinga is set to take the oath of office and assume his duties today as the President of the Court of Appeal.
This follows his election on 24th of May, by judges of Appeal to replace Justice William Ouko who is the judge of the Supreme Court.
The Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) certified his election, clearing the way for him to assume office immediately.
Initially he was the chairman of the Judiciary Committee on Elections after taking over from High Court judge Msagha Mbogholi in January.
Justice Musinga was admitted to the bar in 1988, appointed the High Court judge in 2003, and has served in Nakuru and Kisii counties.
