Justice Hellen Wasilwa of the Nakuru employment and labour relations court, is calling for the immediate reopening of the Nyandarua County Assembly.
As a result, she is directing Acting Speaker Zachary Njeru to ensure all staff carry out their official duties.
This is inclusive of the embattled Speaker Ndegwa Wahome.
Judge Wasilwa made the ruling in a case filed by the clerk Muchiri Mukiri.
Mukiri filed the case after being fired by the County Assembly Service Board.
Judge Wasilwa also barred Githabai MCAs Samuel Rimui and Reuben Gitau as members of the board.
They will be replaced by MCAs Kieru Wambui and Kariuki Muchiri.
Since December 2020, the Nyandarua County Assembly has been facing leadership wrangles that saw speaker Wahome impeached four times.
