At least 30 people have died in Pakistan following the collision of two express passenger trains. Rescuers however say the number is likely to rise as they further the exercise.
The accident took place as a result of one of the train’s coaches derailing and falling across the opposite track.
A senior district police official Umar Tufail says the rescuers are trying to access a coach where some 25 people are believed to be trapped.
Others who have commented on the issue include Prime Minister Imran Khan, who tweeted of his shock by the horrific train accident at Ghotki early this morning leaving 30 passengers dead.
