Legendary American television host passes on at the age of 87 years. This man has been on our screens since we can remember. He is said to have interviewed over 50,000 people over the course of his career.
He has interviewed political leaders, musicians, activists and so many more. He had a way of making sure you are fully invested in the interview as a viewer and he always delivered. He was not afraid of asking the juicy questions that other interviewers would shy away from. He has won 10 CableACE awards for Best Interviewer and for Best Talk Show Series among many other awards spreading throughout his long career.
He was reported to have been battling with the COVID 19 virus in the very recent past prior to today. Although it is not very clear whether this is the cause of death, it sure could be. This reminds us that we should take care of the older generation when interacting with them and the best way to do this is by taking care of ourselves first.
He was a true Journalist not afraid to seek for the truth and give his two cents when need be. He inspired a whole generation of new journalists and that can never be taken away from his legacy.
We shall cherish all the great insights that Larry King gave us through his interviews and we wish him a place in heaven. We loved your wit and got the best part of your funny bone. Rest in peace Larry King!
