Jan, 15th 2021 – ODM Leader Raila Odinga has told the young people to support the Building Bridges Initiative.
Speaking yesterday, he said the document seeks to offer the Kenyan youth more opportunities especially in the sector of leadership.
The document proposes that starting and furthering business in Kenya, particularly for youth-led small businesses, is an invitation to innumerable obstacles, unlike in other countries where entrepreneurs are encouraged and assisted to venture.
Raila said, “I spoke the other day with my brother Uhuru and agreed that we bring together the Nairobi youths. We agreed that we should first speak with the Nairobi youth and bring together the Jubilee and ODM youths so that we can start the journey together.”
The former Prime Minister also criticized Deputy William Ruto, saying he seeks to bring division in the country.
Still on matters BBI, Government Spokesman Cyrus Oguna wants Kenyans to support the BBI.
He says the document will ensure Kenya holds peaceful politics in the 2022 general elections.
This, he says, will in turn ensure, there is no post-election violence.
He however said, Kenyans should read the BBI document, and make an informed decision with no political influence.
