GOR MAHIA BEAT MATHARE TO MOVE 11TH ON THE TABLE

Jan, 15th 2021 – Charles Saramu, Kenneth Muguna, and Alfonse Onyango got a goal each to help champions Gor Mahia beat Mathare United 3-1 in a  football Kenya premier league midweek clash.

The win takes Kogalo to position eleven on the table having played four. Mathare has played two matches and lost all, after being restored. They lost their first tie in the hands of Sofapaka and they are currently bottom of the table. 

Top of the table is KCB  with a hundred percent record of 18 points from six matches. Ulinzi Stars were held to a  barren draw by Bidco united and Posta Rangers were in a one-all draw with Zoo Kericho.

Both teams finished the game with 10 men following Mathare’s James Kinyanjui and Gor forward Nicholas Kipkirui send-off after both players were involved in a scuffle.
