LIVERPOOL AND MANCHESTER UNITED FACEOFF TWICE IN ONE WEEK

Jan, 12th 2021 – Premier League rivals Manchester United and Liverpool will meet at Old Trafford in the fourth round of the FA Cup later this month. The two sides also face off this Sunday in the EPL as the battle for the top spot continues.

Currently Liverpool still remains top of the table with 33 points having played 17 matches, one more than United. Manchester United play Burnley on Tuesday night and a win will take them top of the table with 36 points. Manchester United forward Edinson Cavani is available again after completing a three-match ban.

Victor Lindelöf and Luke Shaw could return and Paul Pogba, who also missed the FA Cup win, will be monitored. Eric Bailly, who came off with a neck injury in that victory over Watford, also faces a late fitness test.
