Dec, 8th 2020 – Gor mahia will play CR Belouzidad of Algeria in the CAF Champions league last 32 draw. The first leg match will be played on 22nd of December with the return on January 5th.
Gor moved to the last 32 stage after a dramatic victory over APR of Rwanda in the two legged affair in Kigali and Nairobi. The green army has lost 2-1 in Kigali and needed a one nil win to sail through.
They however had to do it a hard way coming from a goal down to win the return leg in Nairobi 3-1.
K’ogalo is now focused on starting their league campaign after a stalemate with the federation on broadcasting right.
The Algerian Champions won the first leg away in Tripoli 2-0 completing the double with another 2-0 win at home to book a date with K’Ogalo. CR Belouizdad of Algeria reached the next round after a 4-0 win against Al Nasr of Libya.
2019 was the last time Gor Mahia played against an Algerian opponent when they were drawn to face USM Alger in the same competition.
