Nov, 25th 2020 – Former Kilifi South MP Mustafa Iddi has died while receiving treatment at Premier Hospital in Mombasa. His family members have attributed his death to an Asthma attack as he exhibited breathing complications before being rushed to hospital.
According to a family member, “He was rushed to the hospital after asthma condition became worse. However, he passed on at around 3am.” He could however not confirm whether his death was associated with Covid-19, the virus that keeps claiming lives with an average of at least 15 deaths a day.
He had previously worked as a journalist with NTV and was most recently serving as the Chairman of the Coast Water Works Development Agency.
A family member has confirmed that plans are underway to bury him later today at his family home in Bomani.
