Football Kenya: Club officials and players to undergo testing for Covid-19

Nov, 24th 2020 – Football Kenya has started the Covid-19 tests for players and club officials ahead of the Football Kenya Bet king premier league this weekend. The exercise started on Monday and will close tomorrow .

Sofapaka coach John Baraza has lauded the exercise by the federation terming as a relief to club budgets. 

The federation has however not released any positive test result for any club so far. The matches will be played without fans until further instructions from the Ministry of Health.

The first tie of the season will see AFC Leopards take on Posta rangers whose head coach will have travelled with Gor Mahia in Kigali for the CAF Champions league tie against APR. 

Kogalo’s Brazilian coach Roberto Oliveira was barred from the technical bench in the CAF match after the federation said he has no necessary qualification.
