Wazito bags Kimanzi

Nov, 19th 2020 – Former Harambee stars coach Francis Kimanzi has signed with Wazito FC to take over from Fred Ambani. Kimanzi was unveiled today at the Wazito Head Quarters after days of speculation. Wazito owner Ricardo Donrico says kimanzi’s experience will lift his team to the next level with the season set to kickoff next week.

Kimanzi takes over after his departure from managing the national soccer team Harambee stars. The reasons for his departure was however not clear after both parties said it was on mutual consent. Kimanzi left on a high just after a 2-1 win over Zambia in an international friendly in Nairobi.

The national team has since been held to a one all draw by Comoros in Nairobi and lost 2-1 in Moroni in  the AFCON qualifier matches. Stars have two more matches to play as they take on  Togo in Lome and Egypt in Nairobi.
