Oct, 30th 2020 – Meru Governor Kiraitu Murungi has slammed the recent infotrak  research that ranked him among the least  performing governors . He wants the national government through the Ethics and anti-Corruption Commission (EACC) to look into the firm over what he claims was fabricated research.

He said, “Let them look at Infotrak. I am ready to go there and give evidence that they were asking for Ksh. 3million so that they can give us a better number.

The poll was released on Wednesday ranking the Governor at position 38 out of 47 with a score of 46.7 percent. The research ranked Kakamega governor Wycliffe Oparanya top performer followed by Kwale’s Salim Mvurya  and Kivutha Kibwana of Makueni.

Infotrak says the Counties were ranked by residents polling  based on select functions such as Agriculture, Health. Education, Roads and Transport, and water supply.
I will never give a single cent to them. Let me be number 47 out of 47.” He said.
