President Uhuru Kenyatta, now says, that his agreement with ODM leader Raila Odinga, was not about sharing leadership positions, ahead of the making, of the BBI.
The President, acknowledged that he has been part of the political mess, and pledged to make things right through the BBI .
The head of state agreed that the dialogue on the report must be embraced for there-to-be a consensus. He however asked politician including his deputy to slowdown in the 2022 politics.
Speaking before inviting the president ,Deputy President William Ruto, expressed his reservations in some of the content in the report including the-appointment of IEBC commissioners .
“My brother Raila Odinga is good in football, how can teams going to play in a match be the ones to appoint a referee?” Ruto asked.
Ruto also took a swipe on the inclusion of the prime minister and two deputies in the executive ,comments which elicited sharp reactions from the crowd, at the Bomas of Kenya.
ODM leader Raila Odinga agreed to engage in the dialogue on the report adding that leaders should not talk t each other but seat round a table of consensus.
