Oct 15th, 2020 – Kenya premier league defending champions Gormahia will have a tough beginning to the defense of their title after the release of the tentative fixtures of the FKPL.

Kogalo have been lined up to face Tusker fc, Ulinzi, Mathare United, and Sofapaka in the first four fixtures.

Rivals AFC leopards have a fairly easy start facing a limping western Stima, newly promoted Bidco, Zoo Kericho, and Nzoia sugar FC. The league is scheduled to kick off on the 20th of November.

FKF president Nick Mwendwa says funds are available to meet all the health ministry protocols.

We have to begin the league on the 20th of November, otherwise we will have to cancel the whole season,” said Mwendwa.

The measures include regular testing of players referees and the club staff.
