ACCOUNTABILITY – A BIBLICAL PRINCIPLE: Chapter 3

It’s the responsibility of those in authority to hold me accountable.

The notion that it is always the responsibility of someone else; who is higher in authority to hold you to account is a defeatist kind of mentality.

You should be able to determine your standards of quality, production, work ethics, and behavior.

Set your standards high. Aim to be the type of teammate your colleague’s respect and want to emulate rather than someone who weakens the momentum of the team.

It’s also about being able to count on yourself to follow through on what’s expected of you.
