Two months ago, Hopekid The General released a wonderful jam encouraging and assuring all Kenyans that the gospel is still there. Despite all the negative news or drama surrounding most gospel artistes, Hopekid wanted to stress that the gospel is not dead.
Well, that seems to be the case as award-winning contemporary gospel singer cum comedian, Victor Mbuvi recently launched a gospel record label called Panache Plume Interactive. One of his signees is a 15-year-old girl, Nicole Bett.
During a recent interview with Word IS, the Nibadilishe hitmaker also talked about the state of the Gospel Industry.
“We have signed several artists and are looking forward to signing many more as we stretch out gospel tentacles,” he said.
Celebrating his 20th Anniversary in the gospel industry, Mbuvi believes success is inspiring others to excel also in their talents.
“I felt like I need to leave a legacy of other gospel artistes and widen the scope of God’s ministry with the ability, experience, and wisdom God has granted me over the year,” he said.
We ate Pearl Radio wishes him all the best and we can’t wait for more.
