Man City, Man Utd, and Newcastle move to League Cup quarter-finals

October 1st, 2020 – Newcastle, Manchester City, Manchester United, and Everton are in the quarter-finals of the EFL Carabao Cup.

City beat Burnley 3-0 with Raheem sterling grabbing a double.

United on the other hand won with the same margin , Mc Tominay, Mata and Pogba got the goals against Brighton.

Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer while commending the player said, “A great performance by Juan Mata. He was the one who got on the ball and calmed us down. He was composed. He more or less creates the first goal himself. I am never surprised when he plays like this.”
