Harden’s block moves Rockets to beat Thunder

James Harden’s late defensive play had the Houston Rockets beat Oklahoma City Thunder and organize a Western Conference semi-final against Los Angeles Lakers.

Harden moved to block a three-point attempt by Thunder’s Luguentz Dort, with 4.8 seconds left to preserve the Rockets’ one-point lead in the series decider.

A free throw by Robert Covington with 1.1 seconds left, sealed a 104 – 102 win.

With the win, Rockets will face Lakers on 5th of September at 4:00 am, Kenyan time.

In the meantime, in the Eastern Conference, Miami Heat beat Milwaukee Bucks 116 -114 to go 2-0 up in their semi-final series.

The Bucks levelled the game with 4.3 seconds left, when Khris Middleton hit three free throws. However, Heat Forward Jimmy Butler, attempted a foul potential game-winner on the buzzer, scoring two free throws and winning.
