Sources close to the committee, said the committee co-chaired by senators Moses Wetangula of Bungoma and Johnson Sakaja of Nairobi, will now wait for the resumption of the senate sittings on 8th of September to find a solution.

The committee has recommended the help of president Uhuru Kenyatta to unlock the stalemate.
